Manticores are particularly ferocious even amongst the creatures of Chaos, warped and unnatural predators that take to the sky on leathery wings. Stubborn and territorial beasts who will launch themselves at any challenger, manticores can be ridden only by those Chaos Lords with sufficient raw strength and force of will to dominate their monstrous mounts.
